United States: The United States of America, or the U.S.A. for short, is a federal republic composed of 50 states, 48 of them are contiguous states.

United Kingdom: It is a Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy currently lead by Monarch Queen Elizabeth II and its current prime minister is Boris Johnson.

Australia: Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a sovereign country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands. 

Serbia: Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, is a landlocked country in Southeastern and Central Europe, situated at the crossroads of the Pannonian Plain and the Balkans. 

Germany: Then the Soviets kept their zone - the 'DDR', East Germany, separate with a wall through the middle of Berlin, until 1990 when the country was reunited.

Brazil:  Also, it is not fair to include winter sports in this discussion, since most countries are not suitable for them.

Spain: Spain, or the Kingdom of Spain, is a country in southwestern Europe with parts of territory in the Atlantic Ocean and across the Mediterranean Sea.

New Zealand: I'm not from New Zealand but I can tell how much of an impact sports has on the little country.

France: France is almost everywhere in sports. We have a great national teams like in handball, football, basketball, rugby.

India: India may not be a good sporting nation by western standards, but no one can argue it is drastically improving and sports are slowy being recognised by parents.
